New No-Show/Late Cancellation Policy

Effective May 1st, 2024 McKenzie Pediatrics is instituting a $50 fee for "no-show" appointments, which is an appointment missed without prior reasonable notification. This fee will also apply to same-day cancellations, excepting due to illness or family emergency.

This policy is in response to the growing problem of missed appointments and late cancellations. Our clinic does not "double-book" appointment slots. Therefore, when an appointment is missed we are unable to fill it with another patient. Rescheduling the appointment then reduces the number of available appointment times for other patients, making the wait time longer for everyone.
